Phase 1
PREPARATION: Planning, Pairing & Prayer
We begin with 50 church-to-church and pastor-to-pastor partnerships, built around trust, prayer, and shared mission. From each of Ukraine’s 25 oblasts (regions), two churches have been selected. Each will be matched with two Texas churches, creating four anchor churches per oblast who will serve as regional catalysts for what’s to come.
Phase 2
CONNECTION: Churches, Conferences, and Campaigns
When peace allows, Texas Baptist leadership from each partner church will travel to Kyiv for a national Partnership Launch Conference. This gathering will bring together leaders from all 50 Ukrainian and Texas churches.
Phase 3
MOBILIZATION: Camps, Counseling, Crusades, and Church Planting
As activities begin, anchor churches will decide where to invest their efforts. Each set of four anchor churches (2 Ukrainian + 2 Texas) will take the lead in mobilizing church involvement across their oblast. Building on the foundations of the previous phases this partnership is built for immediate action.
Phase 4
EXPANSION: Celebration, Continuation, and Commissioning
Starting with 100 participating churches comprised of 2 churches from each of Ukraine’s 25 oblasts, each with a paired church in Texas this phase focuses on expanding and deepening the movement throughout Ukraine and Texas. Building on the successes from the previous phase of the previous phase, we take inventory of what we have accomplished, what we have learned and what can be expanded. As the partnership is deepened more are added the movement continues as more are commissioned.
